This is Betsy Ann, one of my handmade primitive raggedy dolls, measures about 12 inches tall. She is made of muslin and her dress is light yellow cotton with paper dolls and clothes printed all over it. It is a very neat vintage-looking fabric. I sewed a vintage button to the front of her dress. Her bloomers are made from muslin. I tea stained her and her clothes. Her nose, eyebrows, lashes, and smile are stitched. I painted the whites of her eyes and then sewed on black buttons. Her hair is burgundy embroidery floss sewn to the top of her head with a matching bow. I painted her leg stripes and shoes and lightly sanded them for an aged-look. I made a tag for her and handstamped her name, Betsy Ann on it. You can hang her up by the thread I sewed to the back of her head. She comes to you signed and dated by me, Raggedy Jayne, from our smoke-free home. I used my own pattern to create her. All handmade by me , in the USA.
