Belle Ann is a Primitive Raggedy Doll handmade by me, Raggedy Jayne.
She measures about 19 inches tall and I tea-stained her with tea, vanilla and cinnamon, then baked her to give her vintage charm! She is made of muslin and stuffed with polyfil. Her skirt fabric is light blue cotton denim that I have trimmed with pink rick rack & handsewn on. The shirt is pink with white polka dots cotton fabric with an old button sewn to the front. Her bloomers are muslin. I painted her leg stripes and shoes and lightly sanded them. I added string ties to her shoes and sewed a rusty bell on each one.
Her nose, eyebrows, lash lines, mouth and smile are all handstitched using DMC floss. I blushed her cheeks.
For her hair I sewed rusty bells to the top of her head.
She will hang by the loop of thread on the back of her head.
I used a "Me My Shelf and I" pattern to make her with my own lil' creative touches!
Also she comes with her own hangtag with her name, Belle Ann, that I have handstamped and painted. I added another rusty bell to hang with her tag on her arm.
She will come to you signed and dated by me, Raggedy Jayne so you know you have a Raggedy Jaynes orignal doll. Belle Ann would be cute hanging alone or with your other favorite collections! For decoration and collecting and not for children.
