Welcome to RaggedyJayne's!
I am ready for springtime and pretty colors! Here I have Pinky Ann, a shabby primitive raggedy doll with her glittered egg, all handmade by me. Pinky Ann is about 22 inches tall. She is made of muslin and tea stained with tea, vanilla and cinnamon. I hand embroidered her nose, lashes, mouth and smile. Eyes are black buttons sewn on. I blushed her cheeks. I stuffed her with polyfil. Her hair is Boo Pink Dreamy Baby Chenille Yarn sewn in along the top of her head on the seam line. This yarn is very soft and a beautiful pink color. I made her dress from a pink cotton fabric with a swirl design and a matching bow for her hair that I sewed on. I added some white glittery trim to the edges of the dress and bow. I handsewed the vintage pink button to the front of her dress and added a bit of the trim around the button for some "glitz".
Her bloomers are made of a coordinating fushia pink cotton fabric. I painted her leg stockings white with pink polka dots.  I also painted her shoes black. I sewed a vintage white button on each shoe. I sanded the stockings and shoes for an aged look. I made an egg for Pinky Ann. The egg is about 4 inches tall. It is a paper mache egg that I have decorated with a vintage image of a girl and bunny and I glittered it up with fairy dust fine glitter. It hangs by heavy thread around her arm which can be removed. You might want to use it on your Easter tree!  Also I have painted a tag for her with her name, Pinky Ann. Also I used a bit of the fairy dust on the edges. I added a string to the back of her head so she can hang up if you would like. I used a Ragg Bagg Babys pattern to create her.
She will come to you from our smoke-free home, signed and dated by me, Raggedy Jayne!
